Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy applies to getsilkway VPN, the website, software, accounts, and related support services. You must also comply with the laws that apply where you are located, where the servers are located, and to the networks and services you access.

• Commit or assist fraud, theft, money laundering, identity impersonation, phishing, extortion, malicious deception, or other unlawful activity.
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, privacy, reputation, or other third-party rights.
• Distribute malware, viruses, trojans, spyware, ransomware, or tools intended for unauthorized access.
• Conduct unauthorized intrusion, password cracking, vulnerability exploitation, port scanning, network reconnaissance, or attempts to bypass access controls.
• Organize or launch DDoS, DoS, reflection or amplification attacks, packet attacks, botnet control, or other conduct that harms network availability.
• Send spam, malicious bulk messages, deceptive traffic, or falsified network identity or source information.

• Resell, rent, or share accounts; bypass subscription limits or security measures; or use multiple accounts to evade a suspension, limit, or security control.
• Conduct stress testing, automated abuse, unusually high-frequency requests, or other activity that affects infrastructure stability.
• Run mining, proxy-pool operations, malicious crawlers, spam networks, or tasks that continuously consume abnormal resources.
• Encourage or allow another person to use your account to violate this Policy.

Using a VPN to protect privacy, connect to public Wi-Fi, work remotely, study, travel, or access services you are legally entitled to use does not itself violate this Policy. We do not infer unlawful conduct merely because someone uses a VPN; decisions are based on specific facts, technical signals, reports, lawful requests, and security risks.

Report suspected abuse to support@getsilkway.com with relevant timing, account or service information, and necessary evidence. Do not send sensitive personal information that is unrelated to the report.

Depending on the risk, we may warn the user, restrict features, request an explanation, suspend or terminate an account, block related traffic, preserve necessary evidence, or report the matter to competent authorities and affected network operators. We may act without prior notice in an urgent security incident.

We may update this Policy because of technical changes, legal requirements, or security risks. An updated version becomes effective when published on this page. Continued use of the services means that you accept the updated Policy.
